Exhibition Organisation

 

I co-organised the exhibition Garden of Memories: Growing Beyond by Ukrainian artist Olesia Miftahova at Penallta House, the headquarters of Caerphilly County Borough Council.

 

I was responsible for setting up the exhibition space, handling technical arrangements, creating decorations, and partially managing guest invitations and social media promotion. The opening was attended by over one hundred guests, including Members of the UK Parliament, representatives of the consulate, and members of the Welsh Senedd.

 

The exhibition became a platform for cultural and social dialogue. Following the opening, during a discussion on the challenges faced by displaced people in the Welsh Senedd, one of the artworks presented at the exhibition was referenced, highlighting the project’s wider social and political impact.
